Dave Graney and Clare Moore – ‘Creative Creep’
Before the album came out, David Graney and Claire Morre released their new song called “Creative Creep”. It’s a preview of what the album would sound like to the audience.
David Graney shared insights into the inspiration behind “Creative Creep”, on her Blogspot describing it as a song with outwardly directed lyrics compared to the introspective nature of the rest of the album. “It’s the most outwardly directed lyric on the album as the rest is quite inward and reflective,” Graney said. “Quite personal. Strangely. Emotional.”
David Graney further said. “I write song lyrics pretty literally and am surprised when people think I am being ironic or not straight. In this song, I am saying, “Let me be a creative creep”. I am a creative creep and like being a creative creep. I’m probably an unreliable person and bad friend or brother or son or basic human being, but my focus is often drawn somewhere else, sorry!”
Dave Graney and Clare Moore’s (strangely) (emotional) will be released on Friday, 12th April and it is now available to pre-order via Bandcamp.
