David Foster's daughter Erin marries Simon Tikhman in New Year's Eve ceremony

David Foster's daughter Erin tied the knot in a New Year's Eve ceremony.

Erin Foster, the writer and creative head of dating app Bumble married businessman Simon Tikhman in Nashville, according to Instagram story posts from Foster and her guests.

"I have so much to recap. Like for instance I'm married," Foster, 37, captioned a selfie of her and her new husband in an Instagram story post Thursday. "en route to our honeymoon and service is terrible and feeling desperate to share every detail."

The wedding doubled as a New Year's party: As Foster and Tikhman fed each other pieces of wedding cake, she sported a pair of gold 2020 glasses. At one point, the groom began a choreographed dance that turned into a flashmob with his groomsmen, Erin's sister Sara, and more guests.

Jonah Hill and influencer Derek Blasberg were among the evening's famous guests.

Since the couple's engagement in August, Foster has shared frequent wedding updates to her Instagram followers, including an update from the airport shared Dec. 26 that the couple was heading to Nashville to get married. She also shared goofy bachelorette party photos from mid-December in Aspen, Colo., one of which included a temporary neck tattoo of her fiance's face.

Erin is the fourth of 70-year-old David Foster's five children, including Allison, 49, Amy, 46, Sara, 38 and Jordan, 33.

Her famous dad recently got married, too: He wed "American Idol" alum Katharine McPhee, 35, in London in June, on the anniversary of the release of McPhee's "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" cover: Her first single post-"Idol," which was produced by her now-husband.

“The truth is we really genuinely love Katharine,” Erin told Us Weekly in September. “It takes a very strong, graceful person to come into a family as the fifth wife and have adult daughters who are older than her and do it in a way that really creates inclusion with the family, and she just does it effortlessly. She just makes it really easy for all of us to get along. So we’re very grateful for her.”
