The actor who plays Jim Hopper on the streaming series created by the Duffer Brothers broke the news to the audience at the panel and hinted at what viewers would look forward to.

“The beauty of it is there’s a real ending — things will end in a very real way,” Harbour teased.

Harbour added that the play in London could use the storyline noting that the storyline started in the main series “With the Upside Down” is “one complete story and it’s going to end at the final episode of Season 5.”

Harbour had already opened up about what fans can expect from the final season of Stranger Things talking about the “moving” ending and the rich scripts.

“They’re terrific, as per usual,” Harbour said of the scripts on the Happy Sad Confused podcast. “They continue to outdo themselves, these currently-on-strike writers called the Duffer Brothers.”

He later said, “It’s a hell of an undertaking, too. I mean, the set pieces and the things in the scripts that we saw are bigger than anything we’ve done in the past.”
