David Spade Does His Best George Michael Impression on ‘Lip Sync Battle’
David Spade has dated a lot of models in his life, but on Wednesday night, he battled one. The comedian went head-to-head with Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Nina Agdal on Lip Sync Battle, and he brought back some classics.
The former Saturday Night Live star kicked off the battle with “White Lines” by Grandmaster Flash. After watching Spade’s dance moves, Chrissy Teigen said, “Whenever I see you, you’re always hanging out with models. … it’s ’cause of those sweet moves.” Spade jokingly replied, “Oh, I thought it was ’cause of the white lines,” obviously referring to cocaine.
Choose Spade
Spade showed off more of those sweet moves (the dancing, not the cocaine) when he woke everyone up with some Wham! The comedian was sporting some neon gloves and a shirt that read, “Choose Spade,” while he danced his way around the stage. He even got his pants ripped off, revealing some short shorts. But they weren’t short enough for Nina, who gave Spade a fashion tip. Nina said she wished his shorts were even shorter, to which Spade replied, “Uh, we kept everything taped in. We don’t want to bother America right now with this situation. It would be uncomfortable for them.”
Nina did her best Fergie impression by showing off her hump and her lovely lady lumps, and then she decided to “Lose Control.” But despite throwing down some pretty good dance moves, Spade was crowned the champion. And because he’s an actor, he gave an acceptance speech. The comedian said, “I wanna thank Moonlight, La La Land. I wanna thank all the dancers that were great.”
Lip Sync Battle airs Wednesdays at 10 p.m. on Spike.
