Moore selected a draped Victoria Beckham maxidress from the label’s fall 2024 collection, which features a high neckline and ruched detailing along the skirt. She accessorized with layered rings, bracelets and hoop earrings, completing her look with a pair of cream platform mules.
Stylist Brad Goreski, who also counts Rashida Jones and “Emily in Paris” actress Ashley Park as clients, dressed Moore for the occasion.
The “Feud” star wore her long dark tresses straightened, while her makeup consisted of bronze eye shadow and rosy blush.
Speaking to host Fallon, Moore discussed her viral pet chihuahua, Pilaf, who she’s taken on press tours around the globe. “She’s a magical creature,” the actress said of her four-legged friend.
Moore also elaborated on “The Substance,” which she described as an amalgamation of “The Picture of Dorian Grey,” “Death Becomes Her” and a Jane Fonda workout video.
“It’s such a unique out-of-the-box way of delving into the subject matter of aging in particular and also the male perspective of the idealized woman that we as women have bought into,” Moore said. “It’s a lot about compare and despair and the violence that we have against ourselves.”
The film, which premiered at Cannes Film Festival, received a 15-minute standing ovation.
“I’ve never had a film at Cannes, so I had no idea what to expect,” she explained. “It was humbling, especially to be in a theater with 2,000 people who love cinema.”
Victoria Beckham’s fall 2024 collection, which debuted at Paris Fashion Week in March, featured “sharp shoulder lines on handsome peacoats; blazers suspended from the neck and pitched forward that could be worn with or without the arms in sleeves, drooping pants silhouettes, wire-shaped ‘mushroom’ knits and starched shirt collars as accessories over bare skin,” per WWD’s Booth Moore.
