Demi Moore Transforms Into Living Art in ‘Stained Glass’ Oscar de la Renta Dress at ‘The Substance’ Los Angeles Premiere
Demi Moore put a tactile spin on the red trend at the Los Angeles premiere of her new film, “The Substance,” on Monday.
On the carpet, Moore sported a strapless Oscar de la Renta dress from the label’s pre-spring 2024 line. The mosaic frock features metallic paillettes resembling stained glass. Moore accessorized with diamond jewelry, including drop earrings, rings and bracelets.

Stylist Brad Goreski, who also counts Rashida Jones and “Emily in Paris” star Ashley Park as clients, curated Moore’s premiere look.
Hairdresser Jesus Guerrero styled the actress’ dark tresses in waves, while makeup artist Rokael Lizama gave her rosy blush and a pale pink glossy lip.
The forthcoming thriller stars Moore as an aging celebrity who uses a mysterious elixir that produces a younger version of herself, played by Margaret Qualley.
On “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” last week, Moore described her latest film as a combination of “The Picture of Dorian Grey,” “Death Becomes Her” and a Jane Fonda workout video. The film premiered at Cannes Film Festival in May, receiving a 15-minute standing ovation.
“I’ve never had a film at Cannes, so I had no idea what to expect,” she explained. “It was humbling, especially to be in a theater with 2,000 people who love cinema.”
Rouge hues have taken off this year after scarlet shades took the runways of Valentino, Carolina Herrera and Emilia Wickstead by storm during the fall 2023 season. Stars including Selena Gomez, Florence Pugh and Kylie Jenner have brought the trend into 2024, incorporating red at events such as the Golden Globes and Paris Couture Week.
