Denzel Washington and his wife Pauletta have one of the longest-standing marriages in Hollywood and have appeared on their fair share of red carpets together over the years. The famous actor and his wife complement each other in the fashion department, with Denzel often wearing classic suits and understated shoes while Pauletta goes bold with her looks. She is known to step out in colorful gowns and platform shoes whereas the “Training Day” actor will attend a premiere in sneakers and a suit. For the Tokyo premiere of “Gladiator ll,” Pauletta wore burgundy Maison Margiela Tabi boots with a mid-length leather coat while Denzel paired a suit with sporty mesh athletic shoes.
At the Oscars in 2022, Pauletta styled a striking tangerine gown featuring an off-the-shoulder design with matching peep-toe platform pumps. The “Malcolm X” star sported a three-piece suit and timeless black leather lace-up shoes.
Pauletta Washington also coordinated her colorful dress with her platform heels at the 2017 Academy Awards. She wore a red gown boasting a floral beaded design and a glamorous train with chunky maroon sandals. The “Training Day” actor wore a black suit with a white shirt, black tie, and glossy dress shoes.

Attending Nelson Mandela’s 90th Birthday dinner in London in 2008, Pauletta paired an elegant black top with a flouncy black floral print skirt and strappy black satin platform sandals set on angular heels. Meanwhile, Denzel went with a monochromatic look from head to toe.
