Details about Quavo's Urban Outfitters performance are murky, but here's what we know
If you're planning to see Quavo on Tuesday night at the Urban Outfitters in downtown Athens, details have been a bit murky.
They'll begin letting people in the doors around 7 p.m., managers at the local shop said on Monday, with those waiting in line receiving one ticket until capacity is reached.
How big is capacity? That was not known by managers, but they figured a couple 100 would be allowed in.
Despite being a first-come event, Urban Outfitters did not specify a time that fans could begin lining up outside the store. It's also uncertain where the line will begin or how far it will be allowed to stretch along Clayton Street (or other streets).
Quavo will perform a 30-minute set followed by a Q&A session as part of Urban Outfitters' UO Live series that tours college towns. What was originally billed as a 'Call in the Dawgs' performance has since been changed, appropriately, to the 'Calling the Dawgs' peformance.
The Migos rapper kicks off the company's tour, which will have stops featuring other artists such as Towa Bird, will hit Georgetown, D.C.; Tucson, Ariz., and others.
The event is hosted by Leon Ondieki, the clothing store's Instagram said, who has more than 1.3 million followers on the social media platform.
Quavo, an Athens native, is a well-known supporter of Georgia Bulldogs athletics, and even enrolled in the university last fall. He has been on sidelines, on the field after national championship wins and in the locker room with the UGA basketball team.
Urban Outfitters is located at 155 E Clayton St.
