Detroit Pistons guard Cade Cunningham (2) drives to the net against the Golden State Warriors during the first quarter at Chase Center in San Francisco on Sunday, Oct. 13, 2024.

The Detroit Pistons are throwing a big party — and will host some of the biggest names in rap — to encourage fans to vote early.

The team is partnering with the Detroit city clerk's office and the Department of Elections (D.O.E) to host "Pistonsland: What Up D.O.E.," a free outdoor festival scheduled for Saturday from noon-7 p.m.

Lil Baby is headlining a list of rappers that includes locals Sada Baby, Skilla Baby, Babyface Ray and Peezy, among others.

The festival, which will be in New Center on West Grand Boulevard between Third and Cass avenues, will also have carnival rides, minigolf, half-pipe competitions, roller rinks, food trucks and more.

Additionally, those attending the festival are encouraged cast their 2024 vote early at the D.O.E. headquarters, located at 2978 W Grand Blvd.

"Pistonsland: What Up D.O.E. will give Detroiters the opportunity to make their voice heard through early voting while celebrating the best of Detroit’s culture, music and community,” said Chris Economeas, Pistons senior director of community & social responsibility, in a release from the team. “As an organization at the forefront of civic engagement, we look forward to offering this event as an opportunity for Detroiters to get out and vote while enjoying a free day of fun and excitement in Detroit.”
