Devon Werkheiser Apologizes To Drake Bell After Mocking ‘Quiet On Set’ Sexual Abuse Allegations: “I Was Being An Idiot”
Drake Bell has received an apology from former Nickelodeon star Devon Werkheiser after he and his co-stars from Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide seemingly mocked the allegations raised in the docuseries Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV.
Werkheiser and his Ned’s Declassified co-stars, Lindsey Shaw and Daniel Curtis, received backlash after going on TikTok Live and joking about the Investigation Discovery four-part series.

“Daniel, we told you never to speak about that. Get back in your hole, Daniel, and give me your holes!” Werkheiser is heard saying.
The actor tried to mend the situation, saying, “Sorry, we shouldn’t joke about this. We really shouldn’t. Our set was not like that.”
Werkheiser was referring to the allegations that former Nickelodeon stars lived under Dan Schneider’s reign for shows like All That, The Amanda Show, and Drake & Josh.
“No, it’s f***ing awful. The Drake Bell sh**, that’s crazy to hear,” Werkheiser added. “That is f***ed. And that never came out, which is really wild. Really wild.”
Fans who recorded the live stream shared it on social media, and Bell replied to a tweet saying, “Ned’s Declassless…this is wild…laugh it up guys…laugh it up…’Give me your h*les?!!’ Really?!”

Werkheiser would later post an apology to Bell and other Nickelodeon stars for mocking their lived experiences.
“So sorry to Drake. Gutted I hurt you,” read the post shared on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter.
He continued, “I was being an idiot today. No way around it. I feel horrible that my dumbass was even speaking about this without seeing it. I watched Quiet on Set tonight and am horrified by the gravity of what Drake and others shared. Truly heartbroken about what my fellow actors went through. I can’t believe they weren’t protected. I’m sorry for compounding any hurt.”
