Did HBO just let slip scenes from upcoming Season 3 of 'The Gilded Age?'
NEWPORT – If you're jonesing to get a glimpse of the upcoming Season 3 of the HBO drama "The Gilded Age," the network is offering a morsel.
Or have they?
On Sunday, the network released a two-minute ad for new programming coming in 2024 and 2025. Part of that video was dedicated to hyping the third season of the Julian Fellowes creation, which is described as coming in 2025.
A little more than a minute into the ad, it shows about one second each of three scenes from the forthcoming Gilded Age season:
Filming in RI in 2024? 'Gilded Age,' 'Ella McCay' and a secret big-studio thriller

Marian Brook, played by Louisa Jacobson, holding hands with a gentleman under some trees.
George Russell, played by Morgan Spector, telling someone off-screen, "I know when you set your mind on a thing, no one can stop you."
A woman, not one of the principle characters, standing in what appears to be the room of a mansion.
Although it appears these are a sneak peek of the new season, which is still in production, with filming expected to resume in Newport this fall, the ad shows so little that it's not clear whether this is new footage or scenes that were shot during the first two seasons.
The ad that includes footage from "The Gilded Age" can be found on YouTube, beginning at 1:01 and ending at 1:04.
