Diddy Accusers May Testify In Front Of Grand Jury: Report

Diddy’s legal woes may have just taken a turn for the worse as a potential indictment seems imminent. CNN reports that Sean Combs’ lengthy list of accusers may soon testify in front of a grand jury in the Southern District of New York as the next step in the Justice Department’s investigation against Combs.

The accusers gearing up to testify include people who have filed lawsuits against the disgraced businessman for sexual assault, human trafficking, rape, and more. For context, the Bad Boy founder has been hit with eight lawsuits thus far, with Cassandra Fine’s November 2023 bombshell suit being the legal complaint to kick everything off.

CNN’s lengthy report also included that there is additional video evidence corroborating more potential victims’ stories and folks looking to testify against Sean Combs. At least one male sex worker has been questioned and interviewed by the feds in connection with the uncovered tapes, as he has claimed to have been “victimized by Combs.” It isn’t clear whether or not law enforcement confiscated these videos during the raids on Combs’ homes.

Sources close to the investigation have asserted they’re diligently investigating Combs to ensure their indictment is as “bulletproof” as possible.

For context, when the feds begin talking about grand juries, it signals a shift in the investigation, which is elevated from the preliminary stage. In this new phase, prosecutors will begin presenting evidence and witness testimonies to the jurors. The grand jury must decide whether or not the defendant should be criminally charged.

CNN’s report arrives two weeks after the outlet released 2016 surveillance footage showing Diddy assaulting Cassie. Cassandra Fine is seen in the footage running for her life as she approaches the elevator. Sean Combs comes running out of their hotel room in a towel and throws the singer down to the ground by her neck. Combs follows up by stomping her on the ground as she lies there, covering herself from more abuse.

Combs issued an apology after the video was released, saying he was disgusted by his “inexcusable” behavior. Diddy also claimed to have sought out therapy for his actions.

Cassie responded to the video days later and insisted that the fight against domestic violence had only just begun, saying, “Thank you for all the love and support from my family, friends, strangers, and those I have yet to meet. The outpouring of love has created a place for my younger self to settle and feel safe now, but this is only the beginning…Domestic violence is THE issue. It broke me down to someone I never thought I would become. With a lot of hard work, I am better today, but I will always be recovering from my past.”
