Diddy Asks 12-Year-Old Actress To Party In Newly Resurfaced Video
Another questionable Diddy video has resurfaced, showing him inviting a young girl to a party. The clip was reshared to social media on Monday (Oct. 21) from an account called The Gworls Are Fighting.
Sean Combs, 33 at the time, can be seen in the clip from the 2003 MTV Movie Awards speaking with young actress Daveigh Chase, then 12, if she’s “Coming to the afterparty tonight?” Ashton Kutcher, 25, who self-described himself as one of Combs’ best friends at the time, could be seen backstage smiling and laughing with Fonzworth Bentley.
The video then shifts to the actual MTV Movie Awards, where Chase accepts an award for best villain in a horror movie for her role in The Ring. As the young girl appears to battle nerves, Kutcher reassures her, saying, “You’re doing great,” and Sean Combs tells her to “Take your time.”
With the mountain of allegations hanging over Combs’ head, netizens couldn’t help but look at the interactions with multiple side eyes. “Diddy was so serious about asking that lil girl to come to his party look at how Aston is looking at her so sick !!!” one comment read. “Where is her parents? Lock them all up!! Like now!!! Where is this little girl, I prayed that she is okay,” another comment shot out.
Other remarks accused Combs of sexual misconduct against a minor with his actions and his interactions with her. “This is sick and anyone that tries to defend he is as sick as he is. Celebrities have defiled so many young children,” a subsequent account opined. “We need to boycott stop listening , and buying there music stop watching there movies they won’t get anywhere if we don’t empower them [sic].”
According to Page Six, a spokesperson for Sean Combs has released a statement regarding the newly resurfaced video. His team denied any wrongdoing in the clip and claimed that people were simply trying to make something out of nothing. “It’s disappointing to see the media and social media commentators twist moments into something they were not,” the spokesperson asserted.
Daveigh Chase hasn’t responded to any of the accusations against Combs, nor has she addressed the clip. In fact, the actress was last active on her official Instagram account in 2017. That year, Chase was arrested for riding in a stolen automobile, per Daily Mail.
