On his birthday, Combs will have access to fruit, oatmeal, whole wheat bread, biscuits, “oven brown potatoes” and spreads like jelly and margarine for breakfast, according to the Federal Bureau of Prisons' national menu. Every day at breakfast, which starts at 6 a.m., inmates can have “breakfast cake” but this is not specific to Combs’ birthday.

Lunch is served at 11 a.m. Per the Federal Bureau of Prisons' national menu, Monday lunch mains can include Southwest chicken wraps, chicken tacos, cheese pizza or three-bean chili. Inmates also have access to several sides with the mains, like green beans, rice, salsa or cole slaw. Lunch comes with fruit every day and dessert on some days but Monday is not one of them.

On Oct. 10, Combs' attorney Marc Agnifilo said that the food options are one of the most difficult parts of his life behind bars

“I think the food’s probably the roughest part of it," Agnifilo told reporters outside of a federal courthouse in Manhattan after a status conference. While in court, Combs' trial date on sex crimes charges was set for May 5, 2025.
