Diddy Rape Accuser Reportedly Moving Trial To New State After Obtaining Key Evidence
One of Diddy’s various rape accusers has reportedly acquired key evidence and is planning to take her trial against him to a new state. According to AllHipHop, the case stemming from allegations that he raped a 16-year-old girl in 1990 has now added a new development, with the trial being expected to move from New York to New Jersey. The relocation is directly connected to the woman acquiring new evidence, as detailed in a letter sent to the judge.
“Plaintiff and this writer have received information from several witnesses: a former employee of UMG subsidiary Uptown Records and a Bad Boy Records executive,” the letter reads. “This new information adds context to the Plaintiff’s claims and clarifies the timeline. The first and second witnesses have photos of Plaintiff and Defendant Aaron Hall from the day of the assault, which was taken a few hours before he raped Plaintiff.”
“The first and second witnesses also confirmed that the sixteen-year-old plaintiff was assaulted at the MCA event in New York City, went to dinner in New York City, and then was taken to New Jersey, where the rape occurred,” the letter reportedly concludes.
The outlet didn’t outline how this venue change would impact the case’s timeline.
The unnamed woman’s original lawsuit was initially filed in November 2023, accusing the mogul of raping her. She disclosed that Sean Combs didn’t act alone and was joined by Aaron Hall, who allegedly sexually assaulted her and a friend at his apartment in 1990/91. Her suit detailed that the incident transpired after an event at MCA Records’ offices.
Jane Doe’s suit alleges that Combs “coerced” her and her friend into having intercourse with them with Hall later “[barging] into the room, [pinning] her down, and [forcing] her to have sex with him.”
A spokesperson for Combs responded to the claims after the news broke, telling NBC News that “the claims involving alleged misconduct against Mr. Combs from over 30 years ago and filed at the last minute are all completely denied and rejected by him. He recognizes this as a money grab. Because of Mr. Combs’ fame and success, he is an easy target for accusers who will falsify the truth, without conscience or consequence, for financial benefit. The New York Legislature surely did not intend or expect the Adult Survivors Act to be exploited for improper purposes. The public should be skeptical and not rush to accept these unsubstantiated allegations.”
Aaron Hall has yet to respond to the allegations.
