Diddy Says He’s A Victim Of “Cancel Culture” In Attempt To Dismiss Gang Rape Lawsuit

Sean “Diddy” Combs has taken a new stance in hopes to persuade a judge to dismiss a lawsuit where he’s been accused of participating in a gang rape. The music mogul now claims to be a victim of “cancel culture.”

A Jane Doe made allegations that ex-Bad Boy President Harve Pierre forced her to give him oral sex in a Detroit bathroom ahead of flying to Diddy’s Daddy’s House studio in NYC. Once they arrived, she claimed to have been raped by Pierre, Diddy and another unidentified man.

In response, Diddy challenged the Jane Doe’s claims with a court filing on Feb. 23. In the doc, the 54-year-old has labeled the Victims of Gender-Motivated Violence Act “unconstitutional,” claiming it violates his rights. According to AllHipHop, the memorandum was filed on behalf of Sean Combs, Daddy’s House Recordings, Inc., and Bad Boy Entertainment Holdings, Inc., asking for dismissal of the civil case.

Diddy and his team believe that allegations made against him have “caused irreparable harm to the defendants’ reputations.” ?

Diddy’s lawyer Jonathan Davis stated, “The lawsuit…has resulted in them becoming victims of the ‘cancel culture’ frenzy in the courts – well before any evidence has been presented, and on the basis of rank, uncorroborated allegations.” Davis also argued that the claim is “time-barred” due to it allegedly happening in 2003, with the statute of limitations expiring in 2010. ?

The newest lawsuit follows a string of allegations against the Love Records founder stemming from ex-girlfriend Cassie. Although their case was settled within 24 hours of announcement, other women have come forward with their own accusations toward Diddy.

He released a statement on social media in December, claiming that “enough was enough.”

“SICKENING ACCUSATIONS HAVE BEEN MADE AGAINST ME BY INDIVIDUALS LOOKING FOR A QUICK PAYDAY,” he wrote at the time. “LET ME BE ABSOLUTELY CLEAR: I DID NOT DO ANY OF THE AWFUL THINGS BEING ALLEGED. I WILL FIGHT FOR MY NAME, MY FAMILY AND FOR THE TRUTH. SEAN DIDDY COMBS.”
