Diddy has been the talk of the community for almost a month now since his September 2024 arrest, on top of the near year that his legal ordeals and allegations have been one of the biggest topics. Since being put in handcuffs, the only times people have heard from him have been via his legal team or statements submitted to publications, until this week.

The 54-year-old artist took to Instagram for the first time since his arrest to wish his daughter Love a happy birthday. “Happy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday baby Love! Happy Birthday to you!! Happy Birthday @loveseancombs daddy loves you,” he wrote in the caption of his Tuesday (Oct. 15) post. She celebrated her second birthday and he honored the moment with a slideshow of photos including a photoshoot of her eating birthday cake and having fun in the ocean with him.

The Bad Boy founder treated the post the same way he had treated some of his other Instagram posts over the last year and turned off the comments, as people typically flooded them with comments pointing out his accusations. The former REVOLT chairman welcomed Love into the world in October 2022 with her mother Dana Tran. Check out the post below.

Diddy was arrested in September for racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and more. It was the culmination of several lawsuits and allegations which led to him being investigated by the feds. Puff’s ex-girlfriend Cassie set things off in November 2023 by filing a lawsuit against him for rape, sexual assault, trafficking, and more. They quickly settled outside of court for an undisclosed amount, but other women began to come forward with their own allegations of sex crimes he committed against them.

The cases hit a new level when Homeland Security raided his Los Angeles and Miami homes this past March and then, in May, footage of him assaulting Cassie in 2016 surfaced online. His legal team recently accused the federal government of leaking that video to the media, suggesting the idea that they may have uncovered it during the raids.

The former Making The Band star’s team has attempted to secure a bail amount on multiple occasions, but it has been denied. His trial has been set for May 2025, so the “I Need A Girl” artist will remain behind bars for the next seven months barring any changes.
