Diddy’s Son, Justin Combs, Reacts To Meek Mill Joining The “No Diddy” Trend Mocking His Father
Justin Combs has addressed Meek Mill seemingly distancing himself from Sean “Diddy” Combs amid the flurry of sexual assault allegations against the incarcerated mogul.
In a clip that recently surfaced on social media, Meek Mill uses the phrase “No Diddy,” which signals one’s disassociation with the alleged predatory and homosexual activities the Bad Boy Entertainment founder has been linked to.
“No Diddy gang,” Meek can be seen saying while crossing paths with a fan in New York City. “Meek Milly in real life. Don’t ever disrespect me, ya heard?”
Upon catching wind of Meek Mill’s post, Justin Combs reacted by responding with one of his own, simply writing “smh” along with a face-palm emoji, seemingly expressing his disapproval with the hitmaker’s sudden change of heart.
Meek Mill joining onto the “No Diddy” trend may come as a surprise to many given the pair’s seemingly close professional and personal relationship with one another. The Philly native has collaborated and been seen with Combs on numerous occasions, even mentioning the impresario’s name in his own rap verses.
Yet, speculation surrounding a supposed sexual relationship between the two, which stems from a lawsuit filed by producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones, has prompted Meek Mill to be on the defensive, as he’s vehemently denied a secret romance with Diddy or any other man, for that matter.
“I’m from Philly I don’t do coke or freaky a** molly,” he wrote on X (formerly Twitter) in response to the accusations. “[N]obody won’t even offer me coke because I’m that heavy …. No man or watt would ever approach me about gay activity and the whole place don’t get flipped … woke up seeing this on every blog like they know I’m coming! Lol.”
The Dreamchasers leader continued, adding, “That’s why I always come around all these industry ni**as with my real friends .You never catch me around anybody from the industry alone..you can’t even hold a convo without my dawgs stepping in the room it’s been that way.”
However, some believe that Meek Mill’s constant rebuttals concerning the rumors only lend more credence to the heckling he’s been subjected to.
“When you say something that isn’t true, and the person wants to defend themselves, they encourage — the public likes that you’re vulnerable,” 50 told Billboard. “Because it matters to you that it wasn’t true and they jump on you.
“That’s like Meek Mill,” he went on. “When they say Meek is fruity or gay with Puff in the situation now. It’s how he responds to it that makes people talk about it more. It gets bigger and bigger and it turns into a thing going on out there.”
