Diddy Tells Partygoers To Lather Up In Lotion In Resurfaced Clip
Diddy is back at it again, requesting partygoers to lather up in lotion. TMZ reported they got their hands on a previously unreleased clip showing Sean Combs MCing a 2022 party at Club Love—the nightclub inside his Holmby Hills estate—after winning the BET Lifetime Achievement Award at the BET Awards that year.
The outlet reports that some of the music industry’s brightest stars, including Mary J. Blige, Russell Simmons, Kimora Lee Simmons, Lil Kim, Young Jeezy, and more, popped out to party.
Celebrating his historic accolade, Combs alerts the crowd that he has a couple of requirements to ensure the party goes as planned. One of them requires the fellas to Listerine strip “that blunt breathe” and for everyone to moisturize their bodies. “Ayo, everybody, make sure your breath is fresh, make sure you’re lotion’d up,” he told the crowd. “If you’re smoking weed, get some Listerine strips. Be respectful. Ladies, if [men] don’t want to dance, don’t let that hold you back!”
This isn’t the first resurfaced clip that shows Diddy speaking on or about lotion. During an interview for Fuse’s On the Record in 2012, Touré asked the mogul for some advice for other men. Combs echoed his sentiments regarding getting rid of the “blunt breathe” as a vital part of “the love movement.”
He then doubles down on making sure men use gum and lotion to avoid being ashy, emphasizing “lotion, especially for the brothers” — which sounds crazy knowing what we now know about his alleged 1,000 bottles of baby oil.
Combs was arrested in mid-September in connection to his sex trafficking case. Holding a press conference, U.S. Attorney Damian Williams finally revealed the contents found during the March raid of the mogul’s Miami residence. Williams displayed graphics that showed off confiscated unmarked AR-15s, ammunition, and an ungodly amount of baby oil and lubricant. According to legal documents, the baby oil and other lubricants were used during the Combs’ “Freak Offs.”
