Diddy’s New York City Arrest Footage Released
Footage of Diddy being arrested has been released.
TMZ dropped the footage on Friday (Sept. 20) showing Sean Combs entering into a Manhattan hotel with an entourage in tow. Federal agents in white dress shirts suddenly appear, gesturing to Combs to walk with them. As the men guide Combs to walk alongside them, Diddy’s entourage looks on hopelessly.
The muted video continues, picking up with the troubled mogul walking with even more agents down an isolated corridor in the hotel. The men enter the elevator and then remerge where the video initially began, with all men, including a handcuffed Diddy, at the center of the gang of agents.
Sean Combs was initially arrested on Monday (Sept. 16), with prosecutors hitting him with a RICO charge and charges of sex trafficking. During the press conference held on Tuesday (Sept. 17), the feds revealed that they have been building a case against the mogul since 2008.
The released detention memo recalled broad examples of Combs’ abuse of power as he abused women. The legal documents detailed the businessman’s violent behavior as “serious acts of violence.”
These actions included “forcing and coercing women to participate in sexual activity, including sex acts with commercial sex workers, by using physical force, financial pressure, emotional abuse, and narcotics.”
As of writing this article, Sean Combs remains behind bars, as he has been denied bail twice. Federal prosecutors have asserted that the troubled mogul must stay in a Brooklyn jail until his court date.
Diddy has since been placed on suicide watch, with sources saying Combs “is in shock and his mental state is unclear,” as per People.
However, Marc Agnifilo, Sean Combs’ attorney, insisted that his client is fine, telling TMZ that Combs is “not at all suicidal” and that he is “strong, healthy, confident and focused on his defense.”
