Disney is making a live-action Cruella de Vil movie

Those adorable Dalmatians better watch out, because Cruella de Vil is like a cat with nine lives. The 101 Dalmatians evildoer is working her way back to life as we speak, with Disney prepping a live-action Cruella de Vil movie.

EW has confirmed that The Devil Wears Prada‘s Aline Brosh McKenna is writing the film, and Andrew Gunn (Freaky Friday) has signed on to produce. Crazy hair, adorable puppies, and lots of black-and-white are sure to follow.

Will Glenn Close reprise her role from the 1996 live-action Dalmatians movie? Or maybe McKenna has Devil star Meryl Streep in mind while writing? We’ll have to wait and see.
