Disney+’s Vision Series Adds Star Trek Vet Todd Stashwick to Cast
Todd Stashwick is boldly going from Starfleet to the Marvel TV universe.
The Star Trek: Picard alum has joined the cast of Disney+’s upcoming Vision series, with Paul Bettany reprising his WandaVision role as the android superhero, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Stashwick will reportedly play “an assassin who is on the trail of the android and the technology he possesses.”

The casting reunites Stashwick with Picard showrunner Terry Matalas, who will serve as showrunner on the Vision series as well. The still-untitled series is set to begin shooting early next year and will take place after the events of WandaVision, following Bettany’s Vision as he “presumably explores his new purpose in life,” per the official description.
Elsewhere in the cast, James Spader is set to reprise his Avengers: Age of Ultron role as the villainous Ultron, it was reported last month. Meanwhile, another WandaVision spinoff — Agatha All Along, starring Kathryn Hahn — will debut on Disney+ later this month.
Stashwick played prickly starship captain Liam Shaw, who clashed with Patrick Stewart’s Jean-Luc Picard in the third and final season of Picard, which aired on Paramount+ last year. He also played survivor group leader Theodore Deacon on Syfy’s 12 Monkeys, where Matalas served as co-creator. His other TV credits include The Originals, Justified, Teen Wolf, Heroes and The Riches.
