Disney XD’s ‘Ducktales’ Unveils Teaser Art, Creative Team
By Greg Evans
Disney XD’s upcoming Ducktales will be executive-produced by Matt Youngberg (Ben 10: Omniverse), with Francisco Angones (Wander Over Yonder) as story editor and co-producer, and Sean Jimenez (Gravity Falls) as art director. The creative team was announced — and teaser art released — in advance of this week’s Comic-Con International.
Disney Television Animation is the production company.
The series, set to debut in 2017 on Disney XD, will feature such Disney characters as Donald Duck, Scrooge McDuck, and Huey, Dewey and Louie. The new teaser art — shown here — was created by the production’s art team led by Youngberg and Jimenez, and will appear on the back of DuckTales Cinestory Volume 1 comic, a collectible edition featuring a retelling of the first five episodes of the original DuckTales television show, to be released at Comic-Con today and available in comic book stores September 27.
