"Gaslighter, denier. Doing anything to get your a-- farther," the Texas trio — featuring Martie Maguire, Emily Robison and Natalie Maines — sing on the new empowering tune takes liars to task.

The song pulls its title from "gaslighting," a means of psychologically manipulating someone into question their own sanity.

The song comes off an album of the same name, due out May 1. A-list studio hand Jack Antonoff co-produced "Gaslighter" with the band. Antonoff recently worked with Taylor Swift on "Lover" and Lana Del Rey on "Norman F------ Rockwell!"

Despite rabid popularity in the late 1990s and early 2000s, country radio shunned The Dixie Chicks in 2003 after Maines openly spoke out against then-U.S.President George W. Bush.
