DJ David Guetta Gets a Record-Setting $16 Million for His High-Rise Condo in Miami Beach
In 2018, music maestro David Guetta, one of the world’s most successful and highest paid DJs, plunked down $9.5 million for billionaire Richard LeFrak’s pristine condo at the prestigious Setai Miami Beach. The sky-high digs afforded the 56-year-old French hitmaker panoramic vistas of the Atlantic Ocean and the Miami skyline. Six years later, Guetta has unloaded the light-filled aerie for $16 million, making it the highest priced condo sale per square foot ever in Miami Beach.
The 37th-floor unit was acquired by an unknown buyer in an off-market deal that closed late last week, as the New York Post initially reported, and spans 2,525 square feet with three bedrooms and an equal number of bathrooms. A few quick calculations show the new owner paid a staggering $6,337 for every square foot of living space. And, aside from becoming the most ever paid per square foot in the south Florida city, the transaction also ranks as the second-highest price paid per square foot for a condo in Miami-Dade County that isn’t a penthouse.

Guetta made offers to several people who lived in units at the Setai, according to the Wall Street Journal, before he was able to pick up LeFrak’s abode, which has three exposures that will provide its new owner with breathtaking views of the ocean during the day and the city skyline at night. Even better for those looking to offset costs, the Setai Miami Beach allows short-term rentals and extended stays; when Guetta traveled, he reportedly rented his unit for up to $28,000 a week or $50,000 a month.
The home is cloaked in white and laced with Sonos speakers throughout its open-concept layout. Floor-to-ceiling windows frame wide views of the Atlantic Ocean from the main living area, which includes a lounge, dining area and kitchen. An expansive balcony sits just outside. Further in, the primary bedroom has its own balcony and ensuite bath, along with vast windows that keep it filled with natural light.

The 40-story tower offers a suite of luxury amenities for leisure and entertainment. Three climate-controlled infinity pools and access to the on-site Valmont spa top the list. The fitness center and Les Clefs d’Or concierge service are another notable perks.
The deal was brokered by Eloy Carmenate, Mick Duchon, and Joshua Winarick of Corcoran, who brought in the undisclosed buyer. Corcoran’s Michael Wiesenfeld represented Guetta.
Guetta appears to have upgraded in Miami—last year he was named as the buyer of a brand-new ultra-modern home on the ultra-exclusive Indian Creek Island enclave that was last listed for $69 million (Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump live next door and Tom Brady, Carl Icahn, and Jeff Bezos are nearby), and he also maintains a sprawling home on the island of Ibiza.
