Doctor Odyssey‘s Joshua Jackson is setting sail and saving lives in the medical drama’s star-studded trailer.

From 9-1-1 creator Ryan Murphy, Doctor Odyssey follows Max (Jackson), the new on-board doctor for a luxury cruise ship “where the staff works hard and plays harder,” per the ABC synopsis. “It’s all hands on deck as Max and his small but mighty medical team navigate unique medical crises and each other, miles from shore.”

In the new trailer, Jackson’s Dr. Max Bankman first boards The Odyssey, not knowing what to expect from his new position. But he quickly gets to work, fielding one medical crisis after another, as passengers fall overboard and the ship endures plenty of choppy waters. We also get a glimpse of ship’s many cruisers, which include guest stars Shania Twain, John Stamos, Gina Gershon, Kelsea Ballerini, Chord Overstreet, Cheyenne Jackson, Laura Harrier, Stephanie Suganami and Justin Jedlica.

Don Johnson (Miami Vice), Sean Teale (The Gifted) and Phillipa Soo (Shining Girls) co-star in the procedural, which premieres Thursday, Sept. 26, at 9/8c, sandwiched between 9-1-1 and Grey’s Anatomy.

Jackson told TVLine in May that the series is “Ryan Murphy at his outrageous, over-the-top best.” He added that the scripts “are written with a lot of joy… they’re very funny and they move very fast.”

Joining Murphy as writers are FEUD: Capote Vs. The Swans collaborators Jon Robin Baitz and Joe Baken. Additionally, Paris Barclay, another veteran of Murphy productions such as American Horror Story and The Watcher, directed the pilot.
