Remember when Joseph Quinn showed up on Stranger Things and the internet collectively decided to pivot away from Paul Mescal and toward a Dungeons and Dragons–obsessed man with a Van Halen hair? Well, among Joseph’s thirsty new fans was Doja Cat, who reached out to Stranger Things star Noah Schnapp to get his costar’s contact info. Sure, it ended up being a whole kinda-weird thing, but cut to ~circa right now~ and these two are fully dating. Clearly, a timeline is in order, so let’s get into it!

Doja slides into Noah’s DMs for help reaching out to Joseph, saying, “Noah can you tell Joseph to hmu. wait no. does he have a gf?” Unfortunately, Noah shares this exchange on TikTok...
...nd Doja is less than thrilled, calling the move “unbelievably socially unaware and whack.”
She adds, “Maybe he is, like, a whole snake. But I didn’t see him that way. I made an assumption that he was gonna be chill about it and he went and shared information that I didn’t feel comfortable with him sharing.”
Noah then posts on TikTok (all of this has since been deleted), saying, “Guys everything is all good I apologized and I still follow her and love her music no hard feelings.”
He also tells Variety, “I’m super unserious on social media and pretty goofy, so I posted that not thinking too much of it, but obviously it hurt her feelings. So, as I should, I apologized and she was totally okay with it and was like, ‘I’m sorry how I reacted.’ It was all good. I love her. I’m, like, the biggest fan of her music, and I told her that. I was like, You’re literally my role model. It’s all good. People make such a big deal out of everything when it’s on the internet, but, like, in reality, it’s like a two-minute thing.”
