Doja Cat's Joseph Quinn Tweet Sparked a Manifestation Trend

Doja Cat is teaching fans about the power of manifestation in getting what you desire.

Two years ago, the musician tweeted her feelings about Stranger Things actor Joseph Quinn, calling him “fine as sh*t" in a now-deleted post. (Doja Cat also slid into his co-star Noah Schnapp's DMs inquiring about Quinn's relationship status, but wasn't thrilled when Schnapp leaked the exchange on his TikTok.) Fast forward to 2024 and the two were spotted together in London holding hands —a very compelling argument for manifesting exactly what you want and making those hopes come true.

Fans have taken the “fine as sh*t” theme from Doja's original tweet to heart and are now jokingly (or not jokingly) using the format to shoot their own shot with their celeb crushes or put their wishes and dreams out into the world — or at least on X, formerly known as Twitter. Each user reposted Doja's original tweet from May 2022, paired with a current-day video clip of the rapper and actor walking arm-in-arm.

Some used Doja's original tweet as a launchpad for their fave celebs' careers or to attract their celeb crushes. “Mike Faist employment fine as sh*t,” wrote one Challengers enthusiast. “Saying ‘Hunter schafer fine as sh*t’ three times in a mirror to conjure her hand in marriage,” wrote another.

Others used it for their own personal wishes and career hopes. “Funding for my next film is fine as sh*t. $500,000 is fine as sh*t. Staff writing job is fine as sh*t. Book deal is fine as sh*t,” tweeted one. “A stable entertainment industry not run by tech that likes original ideas with consistent work for me and my friends fine as sh*t,” wrote another. “In-unit washer/dryer fine as sh*t,” wrote viral X user “bald ann dowd," and we co-sign. Best of luck, everyone!
