Donald Glover postponed the remainder of his North American Childish Gambino tour on Monday, citing physical health concerns and promising that all tickets will eventually be honored.

Glover, who performs under the Childish Gambino moniker, wrote on social media he needed to cancel all remaining dates of his New World tour “to focus on my physical health for a few weeks.” The North American leg has about a month remaining, with the next scheduled date in Austin, Texas, on Tuesday and shows running through Oct. 3.

Glover wrote in his announcement that “all tickets will be honored” once the dates are rescheduled. He concluded his message thanking fans for privacy, support and love.

On Sunday, Glover canceled his show in Houston “due to illness,” and also noted tickets would be honored for a to-be-announced new show date.

It’s unclear whether the overseas portion of Glover’s tour — scheduled to begin in November — will also be affected.

The New World tour is Glover’s final project for Childish Gambino, he said earlier this year. It includes his latest album, Bando Stone and the New World.

“It really was just like, ‘Oh, it’s done,’” he told The New York Times. “It’s not fulfilling. And I just felt like I didn’t need to build in this way anymore.”

He wrote the record in conjunction with a forthcoming new movie about a musician recording work on a remote island.

“I thought there was a really great journey in somebody making music and not knowing what the purpose of it was,” he said. “I feel like everybody goes through that, not just artists. That feeling of like, ‘What is any of this for?’”
