Donna Kelce Racking Up Credits With Second Hallmark Movie in the Works
Looks like Donna Kelce doesn't have a favorite son. The mother of Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce—and more importantly the possible future mother-in-law of Taylor Swift—is making a second Hallmark movie, Christmas on Call.
The setting for her second movie will be Philadelphia, where her eldest son, Jason Kelce, played his entire NFL career as center for the Eagles before retiring earlier this year. This will follow her TV movie debut in Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story, set in Kansas City.
Fun fact: Donna Kelce met Ed Kelce on her way to another date!
Christmas on Call stars Ser’Darius Blain and Sara Canning and will also feature a song by The Philly Specials, a group comprised of former and current Eagles players, including Jason Kelce, Jordan Mailata and Lane Johnson. The song, "Santa Drives an Astrovan," features indie rock band Mt. Joy. The track is part of The Philly Specials' upcoming album, A Philly Special Christmas.
According to an article on People about the film, it appears Kelce will be playing a manager or owner of an eatery. If she's playing the same character she is on Holiday Touchdown, that would be quite the commute.

Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story is Hallmark Channel's first collaboration with the NFL. Hallmark's corporate headquarters is also located in Kansas City and is just a short drive away from the Chiefs stadium.
The Chiefs-themed holiday rom-com stars Hunter King and Tyler Hynes. King plays Alana, a Chiefs superfan who makes it as a finalist in the team's "Fan of the Year" competition. Hynes plays Derrick, the director of fan engagement who is tasked with evaluating how Alana and her family stack up against two other finalists.
