'Doubling Down With the Derricos' Stars Deon and Karen Are Divorced
Doubling Down With the Derricos stars, Deon and Karen Derrico, are officially divorced.
On Friday, June 14, TMZ reported that the TLC stars—who married in 2005 and share 14 kids—not only filed for divorce but had already finalized everything.
Deon and Karen filed paperwork on June 4, finalizing two days later on June 6. Reportedly, the former couple has equally split legal and physical custody of their 13 minor children. (Their eldest daughter, Darian, is 18.)
In addition to Darian, Deon and Karen share: Derrick, 13; twins Dallas and Denver, 12; quintuplets Deniko, Dariz, Deonee, Daician and Daiten, 10; twins Diez and Dior, 6; and triplets Dawsyn, De'Aren and Dyver, 4.
Court documents revealed that Deon will pay $1,166 per month to Karen in child support, while Karen is responsible for their kids' medical insurance.
“Together, we remain unified in the parenting of our 14 beautiful children – their well-being is our priority," Deon and Karen said in a statement to Parade via TLC. "We thank everyone for their understanding and support as we move forward for the good of our family.”

So far, Season 5 of Doubling Down With the Derricos has shown the Las Vegas, Nev., family struggle with outgrowing their home. Deon surprised Karen by purchasing and renovating a large property for the family. Meanwhile, the (now former) spouses butted heads over Darian's future as she looked into her potential college options after high school.
News of their divorce, of course, shines a new light on their recent struggles.
