The teaser clip begins with one of Bell's former co-stars telling the camera, "To hear that Brian Peck was a sexual predator, it made me wonder immediately about who was being hurt." Soon enough, a somber-looking Bell walks into a dark room, fighting back tears and ready to tell his truth. The exact details of the abuse are yet to be discussed but "Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV" will premiere on March 17 and 18.

For now, it is unsure if Peck is the subject of Bell's accusations, but the disgraced filmmaker worked on Nickelodeon’s "The Amanda Show. He was arrested in 2003 on charges of a lewd act against a child and oral copulation of a person under 16. Peck was later convicted of sexually abusing an unknown Nickelodeon child actor and sentenced to 16 months in jail.

Bell isn't the only Nickelodeon alum who has publicly accused the entertainment network of creating an environment that made it easy for its child stars to be molested and abused.

In August 2022, actress Alexa Nikolas who starred in the series "Zoey 101" staged a protest outside of the studio's headquarters alleging that she and others were abused by the execs. The former child star who claimed she "didn’t feel safe" during her time on the show held signs that read, "Nickelodeon didn't protect me," "Sickelodeon," and "eat predators."

Taking things further, Nikolas displayed pictures of five males in different positions of power who all used to work at Nickelodeon and had been convicted or accused of some form of sexual misconduct. The list included Marty Weiss, a child talent manager; John Kricfaulsi, creator of Ren and Stimpy; Ezel Channel, a production assistant in animation; Jason Handy, a production assistant, and Peck.

Drake Bell Threatened Suicide Over Online Trolls

Bell's bombshell allegations of sexual abuse come months after he publicly threatened suicide telling online trolls they would have "blood on their hands" if they continued to call him a pedophile.

He tweeted, "Noooo Immmm Nooooooottttt!!!! You people are going to kill me" when a troll called him a sex offender and then told another that “You people are destroying my life.”

When another online user said "Let’s not forget he’s a pedo," in a conversation with a fan trying to defend him, Bell responded "Do a second of research This is what I have to live with everyday they are literally going to kill me. Bloods on their hands…"

In 2021, Bell was charged with child endangerment and received two years of probation and 200 hours of community service as punishment.
