Drake not facing arrest in bar brawl case

Despite reports to the contrary, singer Drake is not facing arrest stemming from a Wednesday night brawl at a New York City night club, EW confirms with the NYPD.

“There have been no arrests and the investigation is ongoing,” the NYPD told EW via phone, adding that reports about Drake currently being pursued are inaccurate.

The rumor mill continues to churn this afternoon, several days after the singer was present at a night club fight that resulted in Chris Brown being cut in the face. A statement from Drake’s camp later claimed he did not take part in the altercation.
