Who Is Dylan Scott's Wife? All About Blair Robinson
Dylan Scott and Blair Robinson first met in seventh grade before marrying in 2016
Dylan Scott and his wife, Blair Robinson, are childhood sweethearts.
The “Nobody” singer and Robinson met in their home state of Louisiana in seventh grade and began dating in 2006.
The couple got engaged in December 2015 and tied the knot on May 28, 2016. They have since welcomed three children, sons Beckett and Barron and daughter Finley.
The "Livin' My Best Life" singer credits Robinson and his kids for his success in country music. “I joke all the time that I would not be as successful if it was not for my family," Scott told PEOPLE in August 2022. “I love them being a part of this. And you know, I don't try to hold back or hide anything. We are a regular normal family and don't try to be anything that we're not. And I think people appreciate that.”
Robinson has also called her husband her "best friend." In an Instagram post celebrating their 15th dating anniversary in 2021, she wrote, “Fifteen years ago today I started dating my best friend… we have experienced so much together! Many ups and downs, first times, new places, and more! Can’t wait to see what else is in store for us!"
Here’s everything to know about Dylan Scott’s wife, Blair Robinson.
She and Scott met in seventh grade
Scott and Robinson's love story began when they were in seventh grade, but they didn’t start dating until Scott’s sophomore year of high school in 2006. The couple dated long-distance while Scott started his career, and Robinson inspired his 2016 song "My Girl."
He told Taste of Country in 2017, "My wife and I, we were dating at the time. We were doing long distance. She was living in Louisiana and I was in Tennessee. I was going to visit her, and we were riding around, and an Eminem song came on the radio. The song was 'Lose Yourself,' and she kind of lost herself. She started rapping and dancing in the passenger seat. And I'm driving — trying to drive. Here I was, this 21-year-old kid with my girlfriend just rapping and dancing."
She and Scott got engaged in 2015
The country artist proposed to Robinson in front of the Christmas tree at Rockefeller Center on Dec. 7, 2015. Robinson later shared a photo and details of the proposal on Instagram six years later.
“6 years ago tonight was literally the best night of my life," she wrote. "My first time in New York, my first time ever seeing the Christmas tree at Rockefeller Center…(my dream was to get engaged at the Christmas tree), and a bonus was that our family got to see it all happen! My heart still swells, I still get teary-eyed, and butterflies remembering this night. The only reason I would wish to go back to this night, is to relive it all over again!”
She and Scott married in May 2016
The couple married on May 28, 2016, in their hometown of Bastrop, Louisiana. Robinson shared photos of their wedding on Instagram, calling it “the best day of my life!”
"What I've learned the most is to be patient and enjoy it," Scott told Taste of Country of married life. "Marriage is different than dating. It's different living with somebody. Just be patient and talk through things. Keep in mind that [she's] your best friend, and you have to treat it that way."
Robinson and Scott celebrated eight years of marriage in May 2024. The mom of three marked the special day with an Instagram post, writing: "8 years and forever more with you! Happy Anniversary Babe!"
They have three children
Scott and Robinson are parents to three kids: sons Beckett and Barron and daughter Finley.
Beckett Scott Robinson was born in Nashville on Dec. 12, 2017, and shares his middle name with his dad and grandfather.
“Blair and I are so excited that our son, Beckett, arrived at 5:20 p.m. today,” Scott told PEOPLE. “He is a healthy, beautiful baby and we are blessed that everything went well. And Blair is doing great!”
Their second child, Finley Gray Robinson, was born on Aug. 28, 2019. Scott shared the news on Instagram, writing, “Beckett loves his little sister and so does momma and daddy. Everyone meet Finley Gray,” Scott captioned a photo of himself holding both of his children. “Born today, 8 pounds 3 ounces and 20 inches long! I’ve watched my wife do this twice now and she is a rockstar!!!”
After telling PEOPLE in 2022 that they were "trying very hard" to have another child, the couple announced that they were expecting their third baby at the ACM Awards in May 2023. Robinson made the reveal on the event’s red carpet, where she wore a bump-hugging strapless black gown.
Two months later, the soon-to-be father-of-three spoke with PEOPLE about how fatherhood has changed him. "Being a dad has grounded me more," he said. "I feel like it's made me a better person and my thinking is a little different now. It's not about me, it's about us as a family. Being a dad is my main priority now in life, where once it was music. My kids and family come first."
Scott and Robison officially became parents of three when Barron was born on Sept. 26, 2023.
She inspires Scott’s songs
Robinson has written many songs about his wife, including his hit single “My Girl." She also inspired his songs “Can't Have Mine (Find You A Girl)” (with Robinson starring in the music video), as well as his song “Amen To That."
Robinson also costarred with Scott in the music video for his song “Lay Down With You." Their two children also made appearances in the video.
In July 2023, Scott shared a sweet post on Instagram of an unreleased song he wrote about Robinson that he found on his phone called “Since You’ve Been Around” about how she has changed him.
She has two brothers
Robinson has two younger brothers: Coultor, who served in the Air Force, and Jackson, a trauma nurse.
In November 2021, Robinson honored her brother Coultor and cousin Bryan on Instagram for Veteran's Day, writing, “Happy Veterans Day to all Veterans! Thank you to those who fought and are fighting for our country and our freedom! Here are two Veterans I’m very thankful for…my little brother Coultor and cousin Bryan! ????.”
She supports Scott’s career
Robinson has supported Scott’s career since the beginning and has even taken their children to his concerts. In April 2021, Robinson documented the first time Beckett joined Scott onstage to play music with him.
"Beckett’s first night out and I believe it was a success," she captioned a video from the night. "He told me when he got off stage 'momma I rocked out, they screaming my name!' "
Scott told PEOPLE in July 2023 that he also appreciates his wife's opinion before he plays a show. “I always ask my wife for advice: Hey, how's my smile look? Does my hair look good? I have to run everything by my wife ‘cause she'll tell me straight up whether something looks good or doesn't. That's what I need," he shared.
