It was a family affair at the Directors Guild of America Theater in Los Angeles on Thursday night, when Clint Eastwood brought his loved ones to a screening of his new movie, Sully
Son Scott Eastwood was there, as were daughters Morgan Eastwood and Alison Eastwood with her husband, Stacy Poitras.
Clint introduced the screening, along with the film’s stars Tom Hanks and Aaron Eckhart and the man who inspired the film, heroic pilot Chesley "Sully" Sullenberger.

After the screening, which received enthusiastic applause from the audience and included several of the film’s cast members, producers and other industry types, the Eastwood family members mingled and chatted with attendees. Everyone seemed in great spirits and happy to be supporting the famed filmmaker.
The film, which has received glowing reviews and looks to be an early award contender, tells the story of Sullenberger’s heroic landing of US Airways Flight 1549 on the Hudson River – without the loss of a single life – on Jan. 15, 2009.
Sully is now playing in theaters.
