Ed Kelce Trolls Son Jason in Ad With Cardboard Cutout of Travis
A hilarious father-son moment was caught on video as Ed Kelce and his oldest son Jason were filming a new ad for Garage Beer.
The brand shared the ad on social media on Wednesday, Aug. 21, a little more than two months after Jason and his younger brother, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, announced their investment in the beer company.
In the ad, Jason and Ed stand on either side of the cardboard cutout of Travis, who is depicted wearing a light blue suit and has a can of beer taped to one of his hands. Ed and Jason each held their own beer cans as they chatted, with Jason seemingly intent on ignoring the fact that his younger brother wasn’t physically present.
“It’s good to have everyone here, that everybody made time to come here,” Jason, who retired earlier this year after 13 seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles, told his father in a subtle reference to Travis’ busy schedule.

“That’s gonna happen,” Ed pointed out, to which Jason pretended not to understand his father’s meaning.
“We’re here,” Jason insisted. “We’re all here, Dad.”
Ed later commented on the size of the cardboard cutout in the clip that Garage Beer and New Heights, the podcast co-hosted by the Kelce brothers, shared on X, formerly Twitter.
“Travis is shorter than he used to be,” Ed said, a remark that had Jason laughing. “You couldn’t afford a full size?”
Jason, 36, teased his brother’s hectic schedule further when he reshared the video on X, writing, “It’s rare we all get to be in the same place. So happy Trav was able to find the time in his busy schedule!”
The official X account for New Heights meanwhile seemed to find Ed’s trolling remark to Jason hilarious, tweeting, “‘You couldn't afford a full size’ ??????.”

“[T]hat’s the part that got me too ????,” one person wrote in response to New Heights’ tweet as another agreed they “love ed calling jason cheap lol.”
“I love this so much,” another fan gushed.
This is the first time in years that Travis, 34, has been the only Kelce brother busy with pre-season activities by mid-August. While Jason will not be returning to the football field to play for the Eagles this fall, Travis is gearing up for the football season ahead in the hope that the Chiefs will be able to secure their third consecutive Super Bowl victory at the end of the 2024 NFL season.
