A familiar magizoologist will be part of the new Harry Potter land coming to Universal, according to an Entertainment Weekly source.

Eddie Redmayne will reportedly reprise his role as Newt Scamander for an appearance somewhere in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter — Ministry of Magic land, which will open as part of the resort's highly anticipated third theme park Epic Universe in 2025, the insider told the outlet.

The source adds that Redmayne's new scenes, which have already been filmed, are set to appear throughout the land.

The new Potter land is largely set in 1920s wizarding Paris, as seen in the Fantastic Beasts franchise. It would make sense for Newt to appear here, as he visits the French capital in the Crimes of Grindewald and he's alive at this time.

While Universal hasn't confirmed Newt's presence in the park, let alone his role in it, they have noted that there will be a live theater show that involves the ringmaster of Le Cirque Arcanus having stolen Newt's case of creatures, where he could reasonably pop up.

There will also be wandering wizards that guests can interact on the streets, one of whom could possibly be Newt — though Universal has so far only disclosed that some will be exchange students from Hogwarts and Ilvermorny and one will be a French Auror.

However, both of these roles would make the most sense with a live actor, rather than a pre-recorded video of Redmayne.

The land's signature attraction, Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry, is not set in 1920s Paris, but in 1990s London — Harry's era, not Newt's. So while it would make sense for Newt, who has dealings with the British Ministry of Magic, to appear in the setting, it would require some time travel for him to be a part of the ride's storyline.

Another possibility is that Newt will be part of a not-yet-announced attraction, perhaps even taking place at the French Ministry of Magic, which would tie the land's title more closely to its predominantly Parisian setting.

However, EW's hint that Newt will appear "throughout" the land may be the biggest hint.

Like the other Potter lands at Universal, Place Cachée will have interactive installations where guests can do magic with a special wand available for purchase at the park. At least one of those spots, renderings show, involves a niffler (an adorable magical creature Newt has several of), so it's possible he will be a part of those magic-practicing spots.

Fans may have to wait until next year to find out.

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter — Ministry of Magic land is one of the five worlds that will make up Universal's Epic Universe, a whole new theme park — Universal Orlando's third — that will open in 2025.

The Ministry will be the third Potter-themed area at Universal Orlando Resort, which currently includes The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Hogsmeade at Universal Islands of Adventure, and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Diagon Alley at Universal Studios, which opened in 2010 and 2014, respectively.
