The Selena actor said that now that his health is in a better place, he is focused on his loved ones.

Olmos previously shared in a May interview published by the Daily Mail  that his body had a tough time adjusting to cancer treatment and there were “many, many times throughout the process” of treating his cancer when the thought of giving up “entered my mind."

“Once they stopped all of the chemo and all of the radiation and all the treatment is when the body gave up, And that’s when it really became difficult," he shared. "But past that, into 90 days, 100 days past that, I was in much better shape and today I feel very strong.”

Olmos said that he has since adjusted his lifestyle, taking into consideration the way he eats, exercises and sleeps, as well as other "basic fundamentals." He added, “That’s the key to your life — you are what you eat and you are what you do. So if you don’t do anything, you’re not gonna be around very long.”
