Eileen Davidson's Throwback Photos from Prom and Graduation Are Too Cute

When Eileen Davidson joined the cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills in Season 5, she was already an established soap opera actress.

During her time as a housewife through Season 7 of the show, Eileen gave an inside look at her dynamic life, from her acting career to her relationship with her husband, Vincent Van Patten.

But, many people are unfamiliar with Eileen's life from before the Real Housewives. These throwback photos of her from high school show a different side to Eileen, while she was still young and restless (no pun intended).

She has always been and remained a California girl at heart — and her prom photo is proof of that. Eileen grew up in Southern California, where she was a surfer girl at a very young age. That is reflected in this photo, where Eileen looks so laid back with her golden blonde locks, white and blue strapless, corset dress, and matching corsage on her wrist. The look is the epitome of cool California girl in the '70s.

But before she was old enough to go to prom, Eileen was a kid growing up in Artesia, California, according to Soap Opera Digest and as seen in the photo down below. Even at a young age, Eileen was camera ready, smiling in an undated photo from grade school, where her blue eyes sparkle in the picture.

In spite of having an extensive acting career, Eileen had never set her sights on modeling or acting at a young age. "I wasn't an actor," Eileen explained in a 2021 interview with The Locher Room. After graduating high school in Corona del Mar, as seen in the stunning photo down below, she briefly attended Orange Coast College in Costa Mesa, California, where she had some pretty big dreams.

"I was a marine biologist major at school or something. Actually, I was a journalism major," Eileen said. "I just moved there kind of on a whim."

After briefly going to college, Eileen went to Hawaii, where she modeled for two weeks. It was there where she wrote herself a letter about wanting to move to Los Angeles because she "had a hunch" about her future. "I didn't know anyone in L.A.," she said. "And I had never taken an acting class."

Eileen then continued to model and moved in with roommates where she took her first acting class. From there, she "fell in love with being on a stage." After working three different jobs to support her dreams, she landed her big break a year and a half later, she said during her appearance on The Locher Room.
