You can always rely on Duckie to come through.

Claim to Fame season 3 is already jam-packed with unprecedented occurrences and we're only on the second episode. After being sent home in the show's first-ever double elimination on Wednesday, Gracie Lou got a surprise when her celebrity relative, Jon Cryer, showed up in person instead of only being seen in the usual pre-recorded video message.

"Uncle Jonny!" Gracie Lou shouted as she saw the Two and a Half Men star roll down the window of a limo sent to pick her up.

"Second episode? Really?" he teased of her early ouster. When pressed, Gracie Lou said she'd tried to lie and cheat "kind of," but her uncle wasn't buying it, replying, "No, you're not capable of lying. That's the problem."

Earlier in the episode, Gracie chose to trust the intel she'd received from her fellow player Naomi, who said multiple clues pointed to Adam being connected to Dustin Hoffman. Gracie selected Adam in a guess-off but was wrong about him being related to the Rain Man star, which meant she was eliminated instead. It turned out that Gracie Lou was duped because she possessed Naomi's wine bottle clue and had a pretty solid guess that the symbols on it referred to a "Brat Pack princess," which she took to be Molly Ringwald, and made the mistake of revealing that to Naomi.

What Gracie Lou did not reveal at the time was that she was related to Ringwald's Pretty in Pink costar.

"Let me guess, there was a duck on the clue wall?" Cryer asked, referring to his character, Duckie, from the beloved 1986 teen movie.

"Of course there was a duck," she replied.

"Thirty years I've been trying to get rid of that nickname," Cryer said as the limo peeled off to reveal a "DUCKMAN" license plate.

In an exit interview with Entertainment Weekly, Gracie revealed she had "not a clue" that Cryer was going to appear on the show with her, calling it "so sweet" and "such a silly, lovely moment."

And though we don't yet know whether Naomi is indeed related to Ringwald, Gracie said her uncle "did agree a little bit" when she told him about the clues.

"He just thought that would be a wonderful connection and kudos to the producers and the casting team for bringing us all together," she shared. "He thought that would be a really cool moment if it were true."
