Elizabeth Hurley brought another sizzling look onto the red carpet this week as she and her son Damian continued promotional efforts for their new movie together.
The Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery actress posed for photos beside her 22-year-old son in London on Wednesday, May 8. The mother-son duo were at the Everyman Chelsea movie theater for a special screening of Strictly Confidential, which celebrated its official release last month.
In photos taken before the screening, Elizabeth, 58, appeared on the red carpet in a sparkling teal dress and strappy silver-heeled sandals. Her ankle-length dress featured a wide thigh-high slit and a daring front cutout that showed off the actress’ cleavage. She paired the look with dangling silver earrings that stood out against her dark brown hair, which she wore down to frame her face.
Posing for photos on the red carpet beside her was Damian, who wore a black suit and a matching black shirt beneath his open suit jacket. Several of his shirt’s top buttons were left undone, revealing the cross necklace he wore around his neck.
Elizabeth and Damian were also photographed posing with Elizabeth’s ex-husband, businessman Arun Nayar. Actor Hugh Grant, Elizabeth’s ex and Damian’s godfather, also posed for photos with his godson on the red carpet.
Strictly Confidential marked Damian’s feature film debut as a director. The R-rated thriller gained attention ahead of its release for its erotic scenes featuring his mother, who starred in the film.
Though Damian acknowledged during an interview with Access Hollywood earlier this year that some people “find this really controversial," he explained that working together is normal for the Hurleys, adding, "She takes my photos, I take her photos.”
Elizabeth, meanwhile, said knowing that her son was the one who would “look after” her on set was “relaxing.”
“Because the things in his script needed me to do in this weren't necessarily things I'd always done in movies many times before,” she said. “But having him there meant that I felt safe and looked after and I knew in the production, in the post, I knew he'd look after me.”
