What is the ‘Off Campus’ series about?
Originally published in 2015, the Off-Campus series consists of five books total, four of which follow various members of the Briar University hockey team as they navigate love, college and friendship.
The first book in the series—entitled The Deal—follows a Booktok favorite, Garrett Graham, after he pretends to date his tutor, Hannah Grace, but soon begins to realize that his feelings might not be as fake as he thought.
Next came John Logan’s The Mistake, in which the hockey star tries to win back the girl of his dreams, Grace Iver, who is not going to make it easy for him.
Third came everyone’s favorite serial dater, Dean DeLaurentis, featured in The Score. In it, Dean finds himself infatuated with Hannah’s best friend, Allie Hayes, although it’s too bad the two agreed to just be friends—for now.
The fourth novel in the Off-Campus series took a bit of a turn, as it followed John Tucker after he accidentally gets the girl of his dreams, Sabrina James, pregnant during their senior year of college. Now the two must learn how to navigate parenthood and their complex feelings for one another.
Then there was the finale, The Legacy, which follows all four couples after college as they tackle a proposal, a wedding, an elopement and even a surprise pregnancy. All eight main characters narrated this book, which was released in 2021.
There are other books that take place at Briar University, but they are not part of the Off-Campus series and there is no news on if those will be adapted as well.
