Emily Blunt attended Tiffany & Co.’s Blue Book 2024 celebration in Beverly Hills, Calif. on Thursday, wearing Jimmy Choo sandals.
The jewelry company celebrated the launch of their Blue Book 2024: Tiffany Céleste with a star-studded soiree at The Beverly Hills Estate. Along with colorful diamond pieces, the collection features the Bird on a Pearl capsule, which is created using some of the world’s rarest pearls found in the Middle East. Along with Blunt, other actresses attended the event including Reese Witherspoon, Quinta Brunson and Anya Taylor-Joy.
Blunt has been spending most of her time on the press tour for her latest film, “The Fall Guy.” During the European premiere in Germany last week, she walked the red carpet wearing gold strappy sandals. Before heading overseas, Blunt was embracing casual footwear pieces. During “Saturday Night Live” last weekend, she joined Gosling on stage wearing a pair of black Puma sneakers. She also opted for all-white sneakers at the SXSW 2024 Conference last month.
About The Shoes
$950
Styled by Jessica Paster, the actress donned a pair of Jimmy Choo’s Azia sandals. The metallic silver sandals featured a crossing strap design, directly in the center of the silhouette in between the one that wrapped around the ankle and square toe. The sandals were supported by a stiletto heel that was about 4 inches tall. The leather set retails for $950.
About Strappy Sandals
Many designers update their sandaled styles with a strappy design to bring a unique look to the silhouette. The style first became popular in the 90s when top labels like Versace and Calvin brought playful sets to the runway. Although each silhouette differentiates itself in an original way, most sets are completed by a narrow footbed and a stiletto heel. Strappy sandals have kept a consistent presence in the retail market, however, it gained a resurgence in popularity a few years ago when designers like Yves Saint Laurent brought the trend back for their spring 2019 collections.
