Get your passport ready! "Emily in Paris" season 4 part 2 is just a few weeks away and it will be whisking fans away to a whole new destination: Italy! Yes, Emily Cooper (Lily Collins) will be having herself a Roman holiday in the back half of the fourth season of the Netflix hit, and that doesn't only mean fresh new sights but also potential Italian love interests, too. "Expect new characters, a lot more drama, romance, and a whole new language to try and master," creator Darren Star told Tudum.

And, of course, there's still the messy aftermath of that mid-season cliffhanger to deal with. The last we saw of Emily and Co. in "Emily in Paris" season 4 part 1 (spoilers ahead!), Gabriel (Lucas Bravo) was dealing with the disappointment of not getting a Michelin star after all (what with Luc's Michelin inspector girlfriend being a fraud and all). Camille (Camille Razat) — fresh from getting dumped by Sofia (Melia Kreiling) and shockingly learning from her OBGYN that she was actually never pregnant to begin with — doesn't want to add onto the chef's disappointment, so she chooses not to tell him about the pregnancy that wasn't.

That's sure to lead to major drama in season 4 part 2, which will no doubt extend to Alfie (Lucien Laviscount), Mindy (Ashley Park), Sylvie Grateau (Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu) and the rest of Emily Cooper's orbit. Let's dig into all of it — here's everything you need to know about "Emily in Paris" season 4 part 2.

'Emily in Paris' season 4 release date

Like fellow Netflix hits such as "Bridgerton," "Stranger Things" and "You," season 4 of "Emily in Paris" will be released in two parts. The first five episodes hit the streaming platform on Thursday, August 15, and the final five installments will follow nearly a month later on Thursday, September 12.

'Emily in Paris' season 4 trailers and teasers

The full-length trailer for "Emily in Paris" season 4 part 2 is packed with juicy teasers and a fresh new location — pack your bags for Italy! Given all that went down in season 4 part 1, we don't blame Emily for wanting to escape her French-set everyday life for the glamor of a Roman holiday.

You can't have "Emily in Paris" without Emily, so obviously Lily Collins is back as our eponymous marketing manager. Part one of season 4 also saw the return of other main cast members, including Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu as Emily's boss Sylvie Grateau, as well as co-workers Samuel Arnold as Julien and Bruno Gouery as Luc. (And speaking of Sylvie, William Abadie has also returned as her former lover slash client Antoine Lambert, as has Arnaud Binard as her husband Laurent G.)

Outside of the Agence Grateau cohort, the main players of Emily's friend group are also all back, including Ashley Park as Mindy, Camille Razat as Camille, Lucien Laviscount as Alfie and Lucas Bravo as Gabriel.

And part two of season 4 will see several new characters joining the mix. Along with Marcello (Eugenio Franceschini), Emily's hunky new friend from Italy, there's Thalia Besson as Genevieve, Laurent’s twentysomething daughter from a past relationship; Raoul Bova as Giancarlo, a Roman commercial director who used to be Sylvie’s film professor; and British actor Rupert Everett as Giorgio Barbieri, the owner of a global interior design firm based in Rome.

With that big Babygate news no doubt adding some tension going into season 4 part 2, Lucas Bravo says viewers can expect “good old Darren Star chaos” in the upcoming episodes. “[Gabriel] was so happy — he was expecting that, and so it’s a lot — [losing] the Michelin star plus the baby,” Bravo told TheWrap. “All is missing is another heartbreak from Emily, and he will be off to Normandy never to be seen again.”

Star himself, who created the series, concurred that Camille's secret will be "a big part of Part 2: What are the ramifications of all that?” he told USA Today. “It certainly plays out in some unexpected ways.” Razat, too, “is really wonderful in the second half. We have such a fantastic cast, and there’s a lot more emotional stuff this season.”

There's also the matter of Emily's own little white lie from part 1: that whole deal about Kadiance, the pricy new skincare client that Agence Grateau recently started working with, actually selling personal lubricant as facial moisturizer. Emily and Co. decides to just go with it, but the half-true “may or may not” come back to bite them, director-producer Andrew Fleming teased to USA Today.

“Emily is learning how to not say everything to everybody all the time,” Fleming says. “She’s learning to keep a few secrets, and that’s a big thing this season. She’s growing up; she’s not the wide-eyed newbie in the office and the fish out of water in Paris. She’s more comfortable and in touch with herself, and has more of a sense of confidence.”

Tom's Guide will keep you posted on all things "Emily in Paris" season 4 part 2, but in the meantime, you can rewatch the drama's first three seasons as well as season 4 part 1 on Netflix.
