Emily Ratajkowski Embraces the Minidress and Strappy Sandals Trend at the 2024 WSJ. Innovator Awards
More from Footwear News
Emily Ratajkowski showed off her strappy wedge sandals while attending the WSJ. Magazine 2024 Innovator Awards on Tuesday night.
Ratajkowski reportedly wore Jimmy Choo’s “Minny” sandals. Emphasizing a black design, the shoes featured a thin strap across the upper portion, and were constructed with fine patent leather material. Also made with a square-toe design, the shoes were finished by a black ankle strap that secured her feet, and a tall stiletto heel ranging between 3-to-4 inches in height.
As for her outfit, the actress wore a fitted cream dress with writing. Keeping her makeup neutral, she styled her long brunette locks in a middle part.
Many brands such as Chanel, Stuart Weitzman and Christian Louboutin carry strappy sandals as a part of their footwear lineup, offering the style in many different iterations, with Ratajowski often wearing many variations of them.
When she’s not in heels, you can find her in sneakers such as the Reebok X Catalyst Premier Road Modern sneakers she was spotted walking her dog in around New York City. Crafted with a breathable upper and a rounded rubber outsole for breathable grip and traction, the shoes were splashed in black/gray colorway, which included black laces as a complementary feature.
Previously, she has been seen in the Oakley Team Flesh sneakers, which have become popular for their Y2K appearance. While Oakley is one of her favorite brands, the model occasionally goes for other popular footwear namesakes. In June, she was photographed wearing Loewe’s Ballet Runners, which is a style she’s been seen wearing quite a bit since the launch of the shoe four years ago. Those sneakers were crafted from a combination of smooth leather and suede, and featured tonal logo accents on both sides. Finishing the set was a ridged sole and an elasticized heel.
