Bruce Springsteen will perform at a rally with Obama in Atlanta on Thursday, according to the campaign. The event also will be the first joint rally appearance by Obama and Harris. Obama and Springsteen also will appear at a concert event Monday in Philadelphia. The concerts are being dubbed “When We Vote, We Win.”
The Harris campaign already is promoting a contest to win two tickets to see a surprise performer at a get-out-the-vote concert, with the silohetted figure of a female singer. Taylor Swift has endorsed Harris’ campaign, and Beyoncé has lent the use of her song “Freedom.”
Springsteen endorsed Harris in a video earlier this month. Eminem authorized the use of his song Lose Yourself in one of Joe Biden’s get-out-the-vote ads in 2020.
