Eminem Disses Diddy Multiple Times on New Album, ‘The Death of Slim Shady’
It wouldn’t be an Eminem album without some choice and often off-color-if-not-offensive words for fellow hip-hop luminaries, and the veteran rapper’s just-released 12th studio LP, “The Death of Slim Shady (Coup De Grace),” singles out Kanye West, Ja Rule and even Lizzo, along with Caitlyn Jenner, the late Christopher Reeve and his own mother. However, he saved his most vicious attacks for Sean “Diddy” Combs, who has been slammed with multiple sexual assault or misconduct lawsuits amid allegations reaching back decades.
The first salvo comes in the song “Antichrist,” which references the horrifying video of Combs beating ex-girlfriend Cassie in a hotel hallway. (Lyric transcriptions from Genius.com)

Eminem to Release New Album 'The Death of Slim Shady (Coup De Grace)' on July 12
“Next idiot ask me is gettin’ his ass beat worse than Diddy did
But on the real, though
She prolly ran out the room with his fuckin’ dildo
He tried to field goal punt her, she said to chill
Now put it back in my ass and get the steel toe”
He lays into Combs again on the song “Fuel,” which includes mentions of the lawsuits as well as a claim that Combs attempts to have Tupac’s alleged killer, Duane “Keefe D” Davis, murdered.
“I’m like a R-A-P-E-R
Got so many S-As, S-As
Wait, he didn’t just spell the word, “Rapper” and leave out a P, did he? (Yep)
R.I.P., rest in peace, Biggie
And Pac, both of y’all should be living
But I ain’t tryna beef with him
‘Cause he might put a hit on me like Keefe D did
And that’s the only way you’re gonna be killing me”
Third in line is “Bad One,” which references Combs allegedly having an explosive planted in rapper Kid Cudi’s car while he was dating Cassie.
“The fucking bomb with the Puffy on
I’m blowing up for Kid Cudi’s car
In front of his house where all his buddies are”
Eminem and Combs worked together on a 2010 remix of the song “Hello Good Morning,” from Diddy Dirty Money’s “Last Train to Pairs” album.
Variety’s review of “The Death of Slim Shady (Coup De Grace)” will be published in the coming hours.
