Eminem Takes More Shots At Diddy In Updated “Fuel (Shady Edition)” Track
Eminem is doubling down on the shots he took on his most recent album, The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grace). On Friday (Sept. 13), the Detroit rapper released an Expanded Mourner’s Edition of the successful project, adding on two new tracks and a remix of the previously JID-assisted “Fuel.” The song now features Shady Records signees GRIP and WESTSIDE BOOGIE and a new verse where Em takes more scathing shots against Sean “Diddy” Combs.
“The Notorious B.I.G.’s death was the domino effects of Tupac’s murder,” he raps on his new verse. “Like facial tissue, whose card should I clean next? Puff’s?/ ‘Til he’s in police handcuffs, guilty, will he step up/ Like gee, never turned himself in, who knows all the murders there’s been?/ Or me next up, prepare for me to not choose none of my words carefully.”

The original version of the project already contained disses aimed at the Bad Boy founder. On “Antichrist,” Em goes at Diddy by referencing the recently surfaced footage of him physically assaulting his then-girlfriend Cassie Ventura in 2016. He also pokes at the ongoing rumors about the Bad Boy founder’s sexuality. “Next idiot ask me is gettin’ his a** beat worse than Diddy did [pause]/ But on the real, though/ She prolly ran out the room with his f**kin’ dildo/ He try to field goal punt her, she said to chill/ Now put it back in my a and get the steel toe,” he raps.
The Death of Slim Shady was released on July 12, 2024. It includes 19 tracks and boasts features from Big Sean, Babytron, JID, White Gold, Sly Pyper, Bizarre, Ez Mil, Jelly Roll, Skylar Grey, and 2 Chainz. The project was a commercial success, garnering another accolade for the 51-year-old artist as he became the first rapper to have an album on the Billboard 200 chart for 700 weeks.
The 8 Mile actor also made headlines this week for his memorable opening performance at the 2024 MTV VMAs. To kick off the award show, Em turned back the clock by performing with a squad of bleach-blond lookalikes, referencing his Slim Shady era. Check out his performance below.
