Emma Stone Shared This Sweet Moment With the Wife of One of Her Famous Exes
It seems like Emma Stone is the best ex-girlfriend someone could ask for! For years, we’ve seen her friendship with ex-boyfriend Andrew Garfield continue to blossom even after their 2015 breakup. And now, her friendship with another ex (and his wife) is taking center stage.
At an October 5 screening of A Real Pain, which Stone produced, the actress showed off her friendship with ex-boyfriend Kieran Culkin and his wife Jazz Charton.

In a sweet video from the New York City Film Festival, Stone was seen running to give Charton a hug after arriving for the red carpet. In the video, Stone and Charton are all smiles while the Poor Things star shows off her hair, which fans are speculating is a wig amid reports that she has shaved her head for an upcoming role.
At the screening, Stone posed alongside Culkin, who stars in the movie she produced alongside her husband, Dave McCary. McCary, Culkin and Stone also took part in a Q&A on stage after the screening.
Stone and Culkin dated between 2010 and 2011 after starring in Paper Man together. However, Culkin told Rolling Stone earlier this year that their friendship has far outlived their romance.
“It’s funny to even say ‘ex.’ To me, she’s just a really good friend of mine and my wife’s. She’s lovely and great,” he said in the January interview. “I met her when the rocket took off. I was right at the beginning of the huge launch; I got to watch all that firsthand.”
That month, at the Sundance premiere of the movie, Culkin told E! that working on a project with Stone at the helm made the experience easier for him. “It’s nice because you go into a job and most of the time you don’t really know anybody,” he explained. “But in this case, going in, I’m like, ‘Oh, OK, well at least that part’s taken care of.'”
“I’m going into a situation where the producers are going to be great,” he added. “And where the filmmaker will be nice, too. It was good.”
Culkin has been married to Charton since 2013 and they share two children. Stone has one daughter with McCary, who she married in 2020.
