Emmy winners: Full list

The 76th Primetime Emmy Awards aired September 15 on ABC with actors Dan Levy and Eugene Levy serving as hosts for the first time. The ceremony celebrated the most revered TV shows of the 2023-2024 season as trophies were doled out in 25 categories covering comedy, drama, limited, variety, and competition series. Check out the 2024 Emmy winners full list below. Winners are highlighted in gold.

As usual, this year’s primetime ceremony occurred one week after the corresponding Creative Arts Emmys – a two-night event primarily focused on artistic and technical accomplishments. Freshman FX drama “Shogun” came out on top there with 14 wins, passing “Game of Thrones” (which won 12 on three occasions) as the new record-holder for most single-season victories (drama series). “Shogun” also flew past the overall record of 13 wins from HBO’s 2008 limited series “John Adams.” How many more can it add to its finally tally tonight? The comedy that scored the most victories was “The Bear” with seven, while Netflix’s “Ripley” led all limited series with three.

More from GoldDerby

“The Bear” is seeking its second victory for Best Comedy Series tonight. Other reigning champs looking to hold onto their titles included “The Bear” actors Jeremy Allen White (lead) and Ebon Moss-Bachrach (supporting), along with Ayo Edebiri, who was upgraded from Supporting Actress last year to Lead in 2024. She takes on reigning champ Quinta Brunson (“Abbott Elementary”), as well as Jean Smart, who wasn’t in contention last year, but has yet to lose for her role in “Hacks.”
